To Finish Your Work Of Art For All To See...
YOU're making a masterpiece.
I wish I could draw. I wish I could paint. I wish I had an "artistic eye." My photographs capture moments. I'm technical about how I take them, I don't see the natural beauty around me as well as I should. I wish I considered myself an artist.
The LORD provides artists to the world, when they are needed. In Exodus 31, you can read about two of them that were provided to do the work that was required to be done in the Tabernacle that the Ark of the Covenant was placed in.
The Lord also spoke to Moses: “Look, I have appointed by name Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with God’s Spirit, with wisdom, understanding, and ability in every craft to design artistic works in gold, silver, and bronze, to cut gemstones for mounting, and to carve wood for work in every craft. I have also selected Oholiab[a] son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to be with him. I have placed wisdom within every skilled craftsman in order to make all that I have commanded you:
Going to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is an amazing thing to do in Kansas City. There is so much real art to see. The artists who created these amazing things have a talent given to them by GOD. I'm a little jealous. However, I need to remember that even though I might not create what these artists create, I have been given a talent and I need to use it to glorify GOD.
1 Peter 4: 10-11
Based on the gift each one has received, use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God. If anyone speaks, it should be as one who speaks God’s words; if anyone serves, it should be from the strength God provides, so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything. To Him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.
Here are some of the amazing things to see at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
