Take It On The Run...
I love teaching.
I get to spend all day help kids improve themselves. I know that sometimes it's a fight, and sometimes they let me down with the choices they make. I also know that sometimes I let them down in the choices I make. However, I cannot think of anything else I would rather do to make a living.
I love photography.
I started this hobby in the summer of 2014. It has been so much fun learning and growing. I know that I have come a long ways, but I also am aware that I have a long way to go. I love looking at the work of other photographers and feeling the desire to learn to be as good as they are. I love that I get to bring pleasure and joy to those that look at my images.
I love coaching.
I've been a soccer coach for 19 years. I've coached track for 7 years. I've meet and worked with so many young athletes. Many have gone on to do great things. Some are current coaches (one even coaches here at the same school as me). Some are still in college and running/playing. I see many of them at the alumni soccer game each fall. The relationships I've built with several of these athletes will continue for many years to come.
All that being said, a group of my current athletes is graduating tonight. (May 8th) I love that they are growing and moving on, but I miss them already! This blog is my dedication to them. Sorry... there will be few pictures, but many tears as I think about them.
