When I Said I Do...
On February 10th, I worked my first job as a "second shooter" for a wedding. The lead photographer was my cousin Michelle. I never realized how much work and pressure wedding photography was. It was moving and shooting for over five hours. There was a constant pressure to not miss, or forget any shot that the bride had wanted.
I was responsible for several parts of the event. I was responsible for capturing images of the decorations. I was also responsible for some images of the groom and his sons getting ready. I also needed to capture alternate images of the actual wedding. Lastly I was responsible for taking candid photos during the reception.
When the evening was over I transferred my images to Michelle and she had the joy of going through over 1200 shots I took, and editing them down to a usable number. She was able to deliver the images to the bride this week, and I was very pleased to see several of mine had made the final cut. Here are some of my favorites.
